Order Flowers Now Families always ask us about flowers.
Dealing with the loss of someone close to you is difficult. Funeral flower arrangements are a way to honor the deceased and offer comfort to the family.
Funeral floral arrangements are a tradition dating back to ancient times, when the deceased were anointed with fragrant flowers and herbs. Flowers continue to be an integral part of the funeral service. They are often used to adorn the casket and/or burial site. Their beauty is meant to be a comfort to those who are grieving, and also to serve as a reminder of the spirit of life. The family of the deceased gains a lot of comfort and joy from the symbolic power of funeral flower arrangements. After the funeral or wake is over and the people have left, families take note of all the sympathy flowers and remember the many meaningful relationships enjoyed by the deceased. In this way, funeral flowers are an intimate expression of your love and care.
While you can send flowers from any florist, you may want to consider the following:- Most funeral homes, ours included, have a preferred florist. This florist usually provides any flowers that the family has ordered through us. When others order from the same florist, it is easy for the florist to coordinate flowers for the family to insure that floral pieces are unique. And you can be assured that this florist will always provide flowers that arrive in time, and the way you expect them to look. Last minute orders are usually easier for our preferred florist.
- Online type flower services sometimes deliver flowers in a box, un-arranged, by way of postal delivery. Because our funeral directors are not florists, It is rare that these flowers ever look like you see in pictures. When ordering from a service like this, you should inquire how the flowers you order will be delivered.
- If you would like to order flowers from our preferred florist, you can call Misty's Flowers at 561-848-7773.
