Yurdenia Garcia Barger

Yurdenia Garcia Barger – age 36 lost her battle with cancer on December 27th, 2022. Yurdy was born on September 16th, 1986 in Miami Florida and was one of four children to her mother Tania Garcia Fisher, her father Reynaldo Jose Fajardo and her Step-Father, Kevin Paul Fisher. Yurdenia or Yurdy as we all knew her was a larger-than-life personality. Yurdy was the "mom" to every single child in our family and she loved them like they were hers. She was boisterous and outspoken and had a unique and infectious sense of humor. Yurdy was a dedicated wife to the love of her life, Kevin, and we all know that was her true greatest joy. Anyone who really knows Yurdy knows that she was beyond talented in many aspects of life, including cooking, singing, arts… but her biggest talent of all was always being a compassionate human being to everyone she met. There are not enough words to describe the kind of wonderful person she was. Yurdy is survived by her husband, Kevin Paul Barger, her mother Tania, her father Reynaldo, her Step-father Kevin, her grandmother Eneida, her Step-brother James Paul, and her sister Tania Nicole. She is also survived by her cousins that became more like siblings, Julie, Vanessa, Beverly and Luis, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she loved dearly. We find peace in knowing that Yurdy is no longer in pain & has been reunited with her brother Kevin Matthew, her grandparents Valois & Siomara, as well as her uncle Rafe. We hold tight our fond memories of her laughter, her jokes, her beautiful face and the love she had for her husband and loved ones.
