WILLIAM T. JOSEPH WATSON, JR., 82, resident of Wellington, FL, born in Kearny, NJ, July 8, 1929 passed away on January 18, 2012. The son of William T. Watson, Sr. and Catherine Lawlor Watson, Bill graduated from Harrison High School in 1947 and then served his country in the US Army. After serving honorably, Bill attended Rutger's University where he graduated with a degree in business management. Bill went on to become a respected executive in the lighting and trucking industry for over forty years. On September 15, 1956 he was married to Dorothy A. Belmont in New Jersey. Mrs. Watson, who survives her husband in death, was by his side for the last 62 years as she was at the time of his passing. As a younger man, Bill was an avid golfer and part of a twosome that won many tournaments. However, most of his time was spent as dad to Karen and Adria and husband to Dotty, his wife of 55 years. After receiving a promotion to Regional Manager for Westinghouse Electric, Bill's career took his family to Little Rock, Arkansas. Bill and Dotty retired to Wellington, Florida to be closer to their two girls and their families. Bill is survived by his wife, Dorothy, daughters Karen Watson Golnick (Greg) and Adria Watson Fraioli (Jay), granddaughter Yu-Hua Golnick and brother John Watson. Visitation will be held at Palms West Funeral Home located at 110 Business Park Way (441 between Southern Blvd and Okeechobee Blvd), Royal Palm Beach, Florida on Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. A funeral mass will follow at St Rita's Catholic Church located at 13645 Paddock Drive, Wellington, FL at 12:00 PM.
