William George Schneider

William G. Schneider, Sr. unexpectedly left this earth and went to meet his Savior, Jesus, and be reunited with his beloved wife Laverne and his daughter Lynda on August 26, 2010. Bill was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy from June of 1943 until February of 1946 and upon his return home, he married his sweetheart, Laverne, and they began their family, moving to Florida in 1952. Friends and family will miss Bill's infectious sense of humor and love of life. He is deeply mourned by his surviving children William, Jr., Sharon Grayson and Ken (Wendy). "Poppy" will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Bob, Michael, Tia, Matthew, Bryan, Tyler and Cameron; great-grandchildren Michael, Zander and Kirrah; and his brother Jack. A gathering for family and friends to celebrate Bill's life will be held at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach on Tuesday, August 31, 2010. The family will receive guests at 5:00pm, a memorial service will follow at 6:00pm.
