William "Bill" R. Summers

Bill Summers was born in Quincy, Massachussetts in 1955 to William Summers and Estelle Gagne. He was the oldest son of 7 children and spent many years looking after his younger simblings. Bill served his country by joining the Marine Corps and travel to several locations maintaining helicopters supporting several government missions. At the age of 27, Bill met his soul mate Colleen Connors and they got married 2 years later. Bill and Colleen were married for 30 remarkable years. Bill was the Deputy Sherriff of Corrections for the Broward County Sherriffs Office for 22 years. Bill is survived by his wife Colleen, his son Billy, and his son Wessley. A visitation will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on Friday, September 12, 2014, beginning at 1:00 PM with a service starting at 2:00 PM.
