William Gary Norman

William Gary Norman was born to Roy and Belle Norman on June 9th 1943 and passed away on December 4, 2014 at the age of 71. Gary was born in Pahokee, Florida and has lived in south Florida his entire life. He was dearly loved by his many friends and family. Gary began his career in the produce business in the glades area as a teenager and eventually became the sales manager for South Bay Growers. He opened his own business, Gary Norman Produce, in the early 90's. Under his guidance, the company has continued to grow and gain respect throughout the industry. He enjoyed watching sports, but especially his beloved Florida Gators and Miami Dolphins. Gary was pre-deceased by son, Timothy Alan Norman, brother Lynn Norman, sister Bette Beard, and sister Sarah Anne Brown. He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Lovell and son-in-law Jeremy Lovell; his grandsons Neil Sims and Nathan Lovell; sister Nancy Durrence and brother-in-law Mike Durrence; brother Dale Norman; brother Larry Norman and sister-in-law Molly Norman; and brother Kirby Norman and sister-in-law Debbie Norman. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at Palms West Funeral Home and Crematory, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411 on Friday December 12, 2014. The family will be receiving friends at 9:30am with a service to follow at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gary's name to The American Heart Association.
