William Russell Metzgar

Metzgar, William Russell William (Bill) Metzgar age 77 of Wellington, FL passed away August 02, 2013 surrounded by his family. Bill was born in Plainsville, PA on August 21, 1935, graduated LaFayette College 1957 and enjoyed a long career at Aetna, Hartford, CT and as Asst. V.P. at USFG, Baltimore, MD. He was a voracious reader, history buff and avid sports fan who loved his Ravens and Orioles and never lost his passion for the St. Louis Cardinals from childhood. Bill & Annie enjoyed the camaraderie at Backstreets Neighborhood Bar & Grill where acquaintances soon became warm friends. Predeceased by his son Stephen Metzgar he is survived by his loving wife Anne, children Sarah Boggess (Steve), Heather Heitmueller, Frederick Fritz III (Holly Wiitla), Lorrie Rankin (Carl) who he cherished as a daughter, grandchildren Anna, Alex, Greta and Fritz, his brother Jim Metzgar (Gail) and many friends.
