William Vance Combass

It is with great sadness that William V. Combass, known to all as "Billy", was taken from this earth suddenly on Friday, June 4, 2021. He will forever be remembered by his beautiful wife of almost 31 years, Ivette, his three wonderful children Leandra, Kalie, and Will, and his kind mother-in-law, Angela. Billy will be dearly missed by his brothers Terry and Kenny, as well as his sister, Sandy. Billy had countless close friends and family that will perpetually honor his memory. Billy was known to many as a true friend that would do anything and everything to help others. He was a lover of animals and nature and had the utmost respect for life. He was the hardest working man, spending much of his time at work as Plant Manager for Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative in Belle Glade, where he served for over 47 years. He loved to fix all things; cars, tractors, household knick-knacks. He raised his family in the house he built and has left his fingerprint on everything he created. When Billy started a project, he made sure that it was 'done right', no matter how long it took. But Billy's greatest accomplishment of all was his family. He devoted his entire life to ensure that they had what he never had. Billy took the humble life he was handed, and crafted the life he had always dreamed of. The void left in the lives of those touched by Billy will remain empty. But he continues to visit his loved ones, through the occasional flickers of light, a fluttering hummingbird in the night, or a silent cardinal flying by. Please continue Billy's legacy, share in the love he has left with us and never let his memory fade.
