Waverlee D. Crommie

Waverlee Davis Crommie of West Palm Beach, passed away January 7, 2014. Waverlee was born on November 23, 1939. She was the daughter of Waverly Hawthorne Davis and Louise Ledreux Davis. Waverlee is survived by her husband Felix Crommie of West Palm Beach, Florida; two children: Felix P. Crommie III of Orlando, Florida and Madeline Dumee of Longwood, Florida; a brother, Hawthorne A. Davis of Mechanicsville, Virginia; a sister Billie D. Landolt of Great Falls, Virginia and several nieces and nephews. Waverlee was predeceased by her parents. Waverlee was a graduate of William and Mary College in Williamsburg, Virginia and was a French language teacher in Newport News, Virginia. A Memorial Service will be held at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Parkway, Royal Palm Beach, Florida on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. Burial will be in Saint Peter's Episcopal Church of New Kent County, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33407.
