Wanda Miller

Miss Wanda Miller (95) of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017. Wanda was born April 24,1922 in Couderay, WI to parents, Frank and Stella Miller, grew up on the family farm in Radisson, WI and was part of a family of eight children. Wanda is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in Radisson, WI later this year to allow family to gather, reflect and share beautiful memories of an Aunt who was dearly LOVED. At the tender age of 15, Wanda traveled to Chicago, IL to work and help support her family back home; she also supported the war effort during WWII. She started working at and eventually became the owner of dry cleaning businesses in Chicago. She moved to Charlotte Harbor, Florida in 1970, continuing to work at and own a variety of businesses. Wanda became a CNA in 1988 and shared her LOVE and compassion for others as a caregiver. She loved spending time with family and friends and was known to all for her kind spirit, sense of humor and unconditional LOVE. Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Stella, her brother Frank Jr., and her sisters Lena Okonieski, Lottie Skopek, Steffie Berthiaume, Regina Pearson, Dorothy Reid and Sophie Galetka.
