Having been born in Detroit, MI, he is the son of Denver and Virginia (Crowell) Simcox. he is survived by his wife, Carrie (Collazo) Simcox, sons Steven Simcox, Daren Simcox (Jessica), John Simcox (Jessica), daughter, Celeste Blackwell (Luke), 11 Grandchildren, brother, Charles Simcox, sister, Betty Parmelee.
