Virginia Loconte

Mrs. Virginia (Valenza) LoConte, 91, of Lake Worth, Fl. passed away on June 9, 2015 at the Gerstenberg Facility of The Palm Beach County Hospice in West Palm Beach. Virginia (also called Jean) was born in Passaic NJ on April 19, 1924 and graduated from Passaic High School. She worked at Western Electric during WWII and met her husband, Joseph LoConte in Sicily, Italy where they were married on October 4, 1947. They lived and worked in Passaic and Clifton, NJ until they moved to Florida for their retirement in 1989.Virginia is predeceased by her husband, Joseph II, her son, Joseph III and her grandson 1st Lt. Alexander Prezioso II, USMC Virginia was an avid reader, an excellent cook and a great admirer popular and classical music. Her memory will be cherished by her children, Francine Prezioso RN and Rosemary (Ronald) DeLuca of Lake Worth, Fl,; granchildren Tara Prezioso DVM of Houston, Tx and Ronald DeLuca of Lake Worth, Fl; and her sister Josephine (A.James) Arnold of Staunton, Va.She will also be missed by many loving in-laws,nieces,nephews and long time friends. A viewing will take place at Palms West Funeral Home on Monday evening 5-7 pm on June 22. A funeral mass will be held at 10 am on June 23 at St Therese de Lisieux RC Church on Lake Worth Rd. Wellington, followed by the burial at Queen of Peace Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach, Fl.
