Virginia Rose Hays

Virginia F. Hays, 94, of Wellington passed away peacefully on the morning of March 1, 2016 at Val's In Home Care. Virginia was born May 1, 1921 in Farmersburg, IN to Glenn C. and Marie Fox. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Robert and her beloved husband of 66 years, Wayne B. Hays. Virginia taught school for many years in central Illinois before retiring to Florida in 1979. She enjoyed cooking, reading and playing bridge. She volunteered at Wellington Regional Medical Center for over 26 years. Virginia is survived by her son Greg (Donna) Hays and granddaughter Macy of Plano TX, daughter Sally (Bob) Kirk of Wellington, loving sisters Elizabeth Mahan and Marilyn Davis, numerous nieces, nephews and her dear friend, Tensy Fana.
