Violet Hayes Richers

Violet Hayes Richers, 91, of Greenacres, FL, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013. Born in Coats, NC, she moved to South Florida in November of 1956. She loved crossword puzzles, scrabble, reading and watching golf. Violet was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband of 58 years, John Gerard Richers. Violet's memory will be cherished by her daughters; Carol (William) Gache, Terri Humphrey, Barbara McCune, Mary (Daniel) Adolphson and Nancy (Glenn) Fabben; grandchildren, Carla Hansel, Jennifer (Eric) Townsend, Stephanie (Michael) Sejnoha, Krista (Kevin) Lewis, Matthew (Stephanie) Humphrey, Lisa Dykes, Karen McCune, Allyson Adolphson, Christopher Adolphson, and Kimberly Kreitl; great grandchildren, Taylor Hansel, Zachary Hansel, Erin Townsend, Emery Townsend, Kayla Sejnoha, Molly Sejnoha, Tyler Lewis, Sarah Lewis, and Aidan Dykes; along with other family members and friends. A viewing will be held 6-8 PM on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Palms West Funeral Home with a wake service beginning at 7:30 PM. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held 10 AM at St. Matthew Catholic Church on Friday, July 19, 2013 with entombment to follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery.
