Violet R. Howett

Violet Howett, 87, of Wellington, FL died September 15th 2017. She is survived by son Steven (JoAnn) Howett, daughters Maureen Bergquist and Barbara Howett, grandsons Steven (Ashley) Howett, Adam (Amber) Perelgut, and Andrew (Jessica) Perelgut, and granddaughters Lindsay (Jon) Thomson, Kelly Bergquist, and Terri Bergquist. Violet's great joy in the last four years was to become a great grandmother to Kamryn, Liam, Natalie, and Sloane. Born in Chicago, Violet was a graduate of Niles Township High School. She married William and raised her family in Chicago and, later, Northbrook, IL. Violet was active in the community before returning to the work force as a secretary in the construction industry. Her last job before moving to Florida was with Crane Construction Company in Northbrook. Violet moved to Wellington, FL in 1983 and soon found work at Murphy Construction as an executive secretary. She retired in the late 90's where she perfected her golf and bridge games. Violet was predeceased by William, her husband of 54 years, her sister Barbro Boekenheide, daughter Kathleen Howett, and grandson Bradley Howett. Violet leaves behind many beloved family members and caring friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trustbridge Hospice of West Palm Beach, FL or the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program
