Vincent M. Lembo

Vincent M. Lembo, 85, of West Palm Beach Florida and formerly of Minori, Italy, died Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Minori, Italy, he was the son of the late Andrea Tobia Lembo and Amalia Ardito Lembo. He was raised and educated in Italy and was in the Italian Navy. In mid-1950's he immigrated to New York to pursue his singing career. He traveled to Canada, Venezula, Cuba and all over the U.S. where he performed at Carnegie Hall and The Music Academy of Brooklyn and many other U.S. cities. Apart from his singing talent, he was an expert in economics, and in his spare time enjoyed cooking for his friends. He made the best Lobster Fra Diablo and many tasty Italian dishes. He is survived by brothers Tobia and Guisspee Lembo and a sister Ana Lembo and many nieces and nephews of Italy.
