Victor Nardo

Victor Nardo, fondly called “Arthur” by family and friends, was born on the 5th of January 1948 to Jose Nardo Sr. and Cresencia Nardo. He was the eighth child of 13. He peacefully passed away in the morning of May 29, 2026.

A quiet and laid back person, he goes by his motto, “Walay Sulti, Walay Sayup”, in the Visayan dialect, translated as “No talk, No mistakes.” He liked to eat and had told stories of his adventures tasting the meat of an iguana, rabbit, snake and savoring turtle soup. He took pride in learning the martial arts of Karate on his own thus enjoying watching Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Steven Segal movies. Despite his stroke at the age of 58 on June 15, 2006, he stayed active at the Boynton Beach YMCA, strolled along the park or beach basking in the Florida sun and enjoying the sea breeze.

Joining the Couples for Christ in 2011 was a pivotal point in his life. It paved a new path to a closer relationship with the Lord, strengthened his marriage and family, built new friendships and a sense of community from attending household meetings, conferences, retreats, general and cluster assemblies, the ANCOP walk, Easter picnics among all others. His wife, children and grandchildren were the immense joy and love of his life.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mayette; his sons Marvin, Michael, Victor Jr., Marc Joseph and Justin Christopher; grandchildren Jayden, Abigail, Aydia Paz and Graham Leo; and his only surviving sibling, his brother, Eugene.
