Vera Twitty

Vera Gertrude (Turner) Twitty, 87 years of age, residing in Boynton Beach, Florida passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 22, 2014 at 7:15PM at Bethesda East Hospital in Boynton Beach, Florida. Vera was born on November 6, 1926 in Mountain Glen, Illinois. She was married to her loving husband of 64 years, Charlie Twitty of Boynton Beach, Florida. She was predeceased by her parents Ted and Gertrude Turner, sister Betty Hoover and many others. Vera was a much- loved and loving daughter, sister, wife, mom, grandmother, and aunt. She had lived in southern Illinois, Bloomington, Indiana, Fairbanks, Alaska, Cherry Hill and Lawrenceville, New Jersey and Boynton Beach, Florida. Vera is survived by her loving husband of 64 years Charlie Twitty, her daughter Janet Lano, grandchildren Chad and Jackie Lano, son Mark Twitty and wife Nancy, grandchildren Julie Seavers and Kenny Sears, son Jimmy Twitty, sister Cheryl Carlson and husband David, nephews Greg and Andy Carlson and many others. Vera lived a long and very full life having touched many during her many years. She will be truly missed and will not be forgotten.
