Vasantha Kulothungan

Our beloved aunt, Vasantha Kulothungan, peacefully went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on August 7, 2026, at the age of 80.

Vasantha was born in Madras, India in 1946 - an era that predates the independence of India. Upon completing her early schooling in this city, she later pursued her higher education at the prestigious Madras Christian College at Tambaram. Vasantha never let the cultural gender norms of the day restrict the ambitious and dynamic entrepreneur within herself. She overcame several obstacles and ran multiple businesses both in India as well as in the United States. Later in her life, she also got licensed and had a career as a real estate agent in Florida, USA.

Throughout her life, those who knew her could always see her loving and generous heart which was intrinsically and deeply rooted in her Christian faith based on solid biblical principles.

Vasantha was the devoted wife of the late Frank Kulothungan, with whom she shared over 47 years of a deeply loving marriage until Frank went to be with the Lord in October 2020.

Vasantha will always be deeply missed by her loving sister, her devoted nieces and nephews, her cherished grandchildren, along with many other friends and family members.

A service to celebrate Vasantha's life will be held at Palms west funeral home, Royal Palm Beach, Florida on Tuesday August 11, 2026.
