Valerie Ann Palazzolo

Valerie Ann Palazzolo was born in Manhattan on August 15th, 1942. Valerie, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 30th at the age of 83 in Boynton Beach, Florida. Valerie enjoyed spending time with her family and pets. She loved arts and crafts, music, word searches and had a green thumb. As an Executive Secretary, Valerie was trained in the art of "taking dictation" and was fluent in reading and writing shorthand. Her proof reading skills were always on display. Valerie loved to draw attention to spelling errors in public displays. This would be followed by "oh, look how they spelled,…." Valerie proudly combined these talents when she worked on her children's elementary school newspaper. Always known for her positive, motivating attitude, Valerie would often end conversations with "do you best" or "give it hell". She always supported her family. Valerie was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Anthony. She is survived by her son John Palazzolo (wife Kim), daughter Kristen Riordan (husband John S.) and grandchildren Angeleigh, Giovanna, Kaitlyn, Kelly and Jack. She will be deeply missed. We will celebrate Valerie's life at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, Fl 33411 from 2 PM -4:30 PM on Saturday, September 13th.
