Toshimi Abe Janiga (62) of Wellington, FL and Anjo, Japan Toshimi Abe Janiga, beloved wife, mother, sister, friend and educator passed away on December 9th, 2024 at the age of 62 in Wellington, FL. Toshimi was a dedicated educator in Palm Beach County. She was an advocate for educating those that needed an extra push in school and in life. She believed that every student and person she met was capable of great things whether they knew it or not. She was the push and motivation for people even if they didn't know they needed it. She was the light that guided us on the right path. She was an avid runner and reader, loved to travel and attend school trips with students and enjoyed spending her free time with family, friends, and students. Her life's dream was to go see Machu Picchu. She is survived by her husband Tim Janiga, her daughter Mary Kartes and her son in law Weston Kartes, her brothers Toshihiko and Kyohei Abe, her sister in law Eileen Janiga, and her mother Kyoko Abe. Flowers are graciously accepted, but if you would rather make a gift in her remembrance she would have loved that option as well.
