Toni A. Ercole - 1952 - 2017 Toni Ann Ercole passed away peacefully at home on April 30th, 2017, after a long courageous battle with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She was born and raised in Lawrence, New York to Anthony and Angelina Rose Castardi. She married her soulmate and best friend for life Joseph Anthony Ercole after a blissful 10 month romance that endured 35 years to this day. Toni loved talking to people. She had an sincere interest in everyone's story that naturally compelled people to open up with the details of their life after only meeting for the first time. She made people feel good and ultimately better for haven spoken their thoughts. Toni poured her artistic skills into an accomplished career as a cosmetician. She spent 30 years as a Free Lance Fashion Photography Make-Up artist in New York City working with top Cosmetic Companies and an esteemed client list that she built and maintained after relocating her business to Boca Raton, Florida. Toni's passion's in life were the sun and surf of the beach, socializing with her friends, and first and foremost her family. She had the privilege and sheer joy of spending every day of the last four years with her beacon of light, her grandson Connor Joseph Ercole. "Nana" is his best friend forever and his "own private angel to protect him". She passionately loved her only son Ian Phillip Ercole and bestowed on him life's lessons according Mom and the joy of reading with a collection of special, meaningful, childhood books that he cherishes to this day...their favorite being "I'll Love You Forever" , I'll Like you for Always, Forever My Baby You'll Be. She also developed a special relationship with her daughter-in-law Sara Cuevas Ercole, having a mother/daughter/friend/foe close relationship creating a very special bond. Toni was a living example of goodness and strong spiritual nature which she used as her daily compass in all aspects of her life. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by her brothers Jeffrey Castardi & family, Andrew Castardi and family, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins from the Bellissimo, Castardi, and Caparusso families.
