Tomas Ortiz Moreno

Tomas Ortiz, 95, of West Palm Beach FL, died of natural causes on Monday, September 25, 2023. He was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico in 1926 to Blanca Moreno and Tomas Ortiz, and was the youngest of six children. Tomasito attended high school in Ponce. He joined the United States Army where he served as a military policeman and conferred with the following awards, the American theater service medal, World War 2 victory medal and 2 overseas service bars. Tomas was preceded in death by his mother and father and five siblings, and he is survived by his wife Ana, his three sons, Thomas Jr, Edwin and Alberto, and grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Viewing will be Sunday, October 1st, 2023, between 3:00 and 6:00 PM with a service beginning at 6:00 PM. Burial services will be conducted Monday, October 2nd, 2023, at 09:30 AM at the South Florida National cemetery, 6501 FL-7, Lake Worth Beach, FL 33449.
