Tina Marie Gorkhali

Tina Marie (nee McCleese) Gorkhali October 4, 1970-July 29, 2017 Tina was a beloved mother to her only child, Josita Marie (13 yrs) and dear daughter of DeWayne (Chris) McCleese and Jo Ann (Richard) Rosol. Tina's memory will also be cherished by her former husband, Kush Gorkhali; sister, Theresa (Brian) Bourdeau; half-brother, Mark McCleese; step brothers, Matt and Donny Spring, Michael Rosol; and step-sister Karen Cott; nephews, Nathan McCleese, Trevor and Sheldon Bourdeau; aunts and uncles, Neil and previously deceased Sharron Granlund, Marie and Charles Smith, Deborah and Jerry Doherty, Debbie McCleese, Harlan McCleese; grandparents, Samuel and the late Janette Burnley; great aunt and uncle, Thomas Burnley and Mary Louise Helton, along with many cousins. Tina graduated from Waterford Kettering High School in Waterford, Michigan. She earned Valedictorian of Oakland Community College Nursing program. Tina was an intensive care trauma nurse at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital for many years. She saved many lives, but could not save her own. Tina was an alcoholic her entire adult life with only brief periods of sobriety. Tina was funny, loving, talented and kind with an infectious laugh and can bring a room to hysteria. Tina died alone with a nurse named Joanna holding her hand in St. Mary's Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida. The Angels came and carried her to heaven, Souring with the Eagles, Free as a Bird, Flying and Dancing all night long…..Home at last St. Ann's Place was always kind to Tina.
