Timm Stifter Timothy Mark Stifter who was born in Rochester New York to Gene Paul and Judi (O'Connor) Stifter on March 13, 1978 has passed away suddenly at the age of 37 of a heart attack. He had one younger brother Ryan, married to David Pfeffer who together have a daughter Nikki. He spent his earliest years growing up in Rochester and then the family moved down to South Florida, mostly living in Boca Raton. He was married in Las Vegas, NV on September 8, 2000 to Carolina Correa and they primarily lived in Delray Beach. Together they fostered a little girl, fostered and adopted their son Leo, now age 8 and shortly after had their second son Grayson, now age 5. Sharing with you all about where he went to school and what he did for a living, but most of you already know and in truth those things just don't describe who he was. Timm's best accomplishments are his two boys, his buddies. He loved spending time with them and doing things with them. He was always there to help them conquer the challenges of Disney Infinity or to help them with something in Minecraft. He would take them fishing, mini golfing, or to the movies and many other things. His greatest contribution to them is by far teaching them about being kind, treating ALL people and things well and finding the things we all have in common instead of focusing on our differences. Timm genuinely cared about everyone, literally everyone. How he managed to participate in so many things, lives, and work during the day but couldn't manage to empty the dishwasher at home was baffling...priorities I guess? Timm and Lina were a yin and yang for sure and complimented each other in many ways. He absolutely LOVED people, not things, but people. He had favorite things of course, but "people are what matter" he would say, never things. He loved having a different opinion from someone because he felt that opened up a conversation and a possibility for people to see other points of view, you never had to agree with him because that didn't matter nearly as much as the conversation about why it mattered. Some would say that his largest influence and inspiration was his Dad. Gene Paul showed Timm how to do for others and how maintaining a positive attitude and perspective can make a difference in your life and the lives of people around you. You balance this kind spirit with Judi's brilliance and wit you get one incredible person. He has shown these influences in his generosity to the people in his real life and his virtual life, always encouraging, always supporting and spreading the word to help each other. One of his favorite quotes was "A bad attitude is like a flat tire, if you don't change it you will never go anywhere". He has shown so many of us how to have a great time in life, to live it, and have fun, to laugh, to be nice and to use your turn signals when you drive. He would remind us all that there is no promise of tomorrow so live your life the way that will make you happy today, because you only have one life to live. To quote Timm "Kiss and hug and tell the people you love that you love them. Don't forget that, it's really really really important. You'll never know when you won't be able to do it either cause your not there or they're not".
