Thomas Michael Vassalotti

After a hard fought battle with cancer, Thomas Michael Vassalotti of Royal Palm Beach, FL went to Heaven on March 29th, 2019. Thomas was 58 years old and passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. Thomas was born on February 3rd, 1961 in Lake Worth, FL to Michael Thomas Vassalotti and Francine Marie Vassalotti. Tom is survived by his parents. Tom was the 6th of the 7 brothers. Tom married Cheryl Vassalotti (Swart) on March 14, 1998 and they lived together in Palm Beach County for 29 years. Tom was a dedicated father and husband and enjoyed outdoor activities and family vacations. Every year the family would enjoy taking trips to Disney World, the mountains, and spending time with family and friends in the Carolinas and Tennessee. Thomas served at the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office with 27 years of honorable service. He rose through the ranks and retired as a Corrections Captain. Thomas was very passionate for his work and the many programs he was involved with. Tom is survived by his wife, his children, Aaron (Angie) Vassalotti and Stefani Vassalotti: his grandchildren, Aiden Vassalotti and Elijah Vassalotti; his brothers, Michael Vassalotti, Steven Vassalotti, Paul Vassalotti, Randy Vassalotti, Nicholas Vassalotti and Larry Vassalotti; and numerous nieces and nephews who he loved very much. A memorial service will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on April 3rd, 2019 at 6pm, with viewings from 1:00p-3:00p and 5:00p-7:00p.
