Thomas Elon Ranke

Thomas Elon Ranke, 74, of Greenacres, FL, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2012. Born in Gates, NY, he was the son of Elon and Ina Mae Ranke. Tom was a graduate of Genseo College and received his Masters Degree from the University of Arizona. He owned his own construction business for many years in NY and was a member of Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club. He later retired and moved to Florida where he enjoyed playing many more rounds of golf. Tom's memory will be cherished by his loving and devoted wife of 26 years, Paula Ford Ranke; children, Dorinda Ranke, Ladene (Algis) Naujokas, Elon (Colleen) Ranke, Paul (Robin) Rudy, Todd (Denise) Rudy and Kristine Rudy along with Donny McCartan; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; siblings, Barbara (Alvin) Reed and Phillip (Margaret) Ranke; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. A memorial service celebrating Tom's life will be held 2-6 PM on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at his home in North Rose, NY. The prayer service will begin at 2 PM.
