Thomas P. Kasinger, Jr. Born February 11, 1940, Alton, Illinois, to Thomas and Augusta Kasinger formerly from Moline, Illinois, passed May 25, 2020. Thomas married the love of his life Cheryl Buser, on June 11, 1966 in Moline, Illinois. They lived in Virginia, Illinois, and then Moline, Illinois until 2014, when the relocated to West Palm Beach, FL. Thomas graduated from Murray State University, Murray, Kentucky, and Western Illinois University, Macomb, Illinois with a Masters in Music Theory and Composition. He taught in Virginia, Illinois and Moline Illinois, retiring from Black Hawk College, Moline, Illinois. Thomas was most humbly proud that the Quad City Church of Christ began in his home in 1999, and that this Church is growing, and continuing to spread God's message of love throughout the area; and that he celebrated 50 years of sobriety as a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and a deep faith in Christ, his Lord. Thomas leaves behind three children, Thomas III (Eliza), John (Brenda), Becky Landstreet (Michael), and five grandchildren, Kevin, Paul, Shawn Kasinger and Michael and Mia Landstreet. Thomas is preceded in death by his parents. The family is very grateful for the condolences, thoughts and prayers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in his name to the St. Jude Children's Hospital. Due to this current COVID-19 health issue crisis, a Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
