Thomas Joel Irvin

Thomas Joel Irvin, age 75, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida. He was born on December 3, 1935, in Concord, North Carolina. Before his retirement he was a supervisor at Holsum bakery in West Palm Beach. Preceeded in death by his parents; Hal H. Irvin and Mildred (Honeycutt) Irvin, and his sister, Patsy Overcash, brothers; Hal, Jr., and Michael. Survivors include his wife Carol, sister, Barbara Allen of Shelby, North Carolina., brother; David Freeze, of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, children; Tommy, Jr., Todd Irvin, and Robin Surprise. Also, sons; Mark, Fred, Ron, and daughter-in-law Sheila. Daughter, Darla Gibson. Seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family requests no flowers. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Concord, North Carolina.
