Thomas C. "Tommy" Hoffman, 71, a 34 year resident of Royal Palm Beach, passed away after a 5 year battle with cancer on June 2nd at Gerstenberg Hospice shortly after 7 o'clock in the evening. Tommy was born January 10th 1947 in East Cleveland Ohio to Fred and Donna Hoffman. He is survived by his wife Barbara, stepchildren Mike (Cheryl) McAfee, Susie (Bob) Bonniwell, Patty (Rich) Hermeyer and Linda (Scott) Pawelski. Grandchildren Tony (Cayla) McAfee, Stephanie (Andrew) Lawson, Jesse Bonniwell, Beth (Phillip) Hale, Rebekah Bonniwell, James (Angie) Hermeyer, Jennifer Hermeyer, Amanda Hermeyer, Joshua (Grace) Sullivan, many great-grandchildren and brother Fred (Patricia) Hoffman and brother Don (Candy) Hoffman. After serving in the United States Air Force as a radar technician, he took a position at Cameron and Barkley electrial distributors, later moving to Florida and working at Graybar Electric from which he retired in 2009. He had a talent for most things electrical, mechanical and technological; and had many interests, including building computers, home projects - he doubled the size of his home in Goose Creek SC - and did many state-of-the art improvements as his home in Royal Palm was being built. He also loved animals, including his Old English sheepdogs.
