Thomas P. Hayes of West Palm Beach died early Wednesday morning, March 9, 2022. He was born on August 21, 1956 to Robert and MaryJane Hayes in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Thomas married his wife Victoria on August 11, 1984 and they had two daughters Tina and Kristyn. Hayes was an electrician for the New York City Transit Authority, where he retired after twenty-six loyal years of service. On September 11, 2001 Thomas was one of the many Metropolitan Transportation Authority workers who heroically helped New York City recover. Thomas was an avid golfer, a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, and a descendent of the Mayflower. Thomas is survived by his beloved wife Victoria and his two daughters Tina and Kristyn Hayes. Along with his brother Robert and his wife Andrea Hayes and their children Melissa, Shannon, Kimberly, and Christopher. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Charlotte Cinque and his sister-in-law Barbara Bruns and her children Jackyln, Justine, Rebecca, Rachel, and Bryann. Memorial services for Thomas P. Hayes are to be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the September 11th Victims Fund.
