Thomas Robert "Bob" Bishop

Thomas Robert (Bob) Bishop was born December 29, 1934 in Carteret, NJ.; the son of Robert and Ann Bishop. On the evening of February 3, 2020, Bob passed away at the age of 85. He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Cecelia Bishop, his stepchildren, grandchildren and great-grandchild (for whom he laughingly enjoyed being referred to as "Grumpy"); as well as a loving circle of family, friends and cherished pets. Bob proudly served in U.S. Army Reserves, and later led a successful career of over 23 years at Marr Scaffolding Company in Boston, MA., as the VP of Powered Scaffolding Equipment. Bob loved antique automobiles and was especially proud of his 1963 Buick Rivera, which won many Best of Show Awards. In his later days, nothing made Bob happier than sitting in his favorite chair with his dogs, or going to Disney with his wife, whom he adored, and his great/grandchildren. Bob was a handsome, proud and distinguished man who laughed so easily when surrounded by his family and pets. Rest in peace Bob…you will be greatly missed.
