Theodore A. Day

Theodore (Ted) Day, age 73, of Lake Worth, Florida, passed away on December 8, 2023. Born on July 13, 1950, in Elkhart, Indiana, he was the son of Vivian Warner. He served in the United States Air Force and was deployed to Vietnam. He was honorably discharged after being wounded in service. After discharge from the military he attended college for electrician technical training, obtaining a degree. Ted worked for Motorola and Broward County as a technician for several years until his retirement. To those who knew him well, Ted was kind and thoughtful. Ted had a number of hobbies during his life including treasure hunting and metal detecting. His favorite hobby for several years was being a Ham radio operator known as W9EXP. He was a member of the Wellington Amateur Radio Club for several years where he made several friendships. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Day, his stepson, Ryan Reeder, Daughter-in-law Alicia Reeder and; Grandchildren Meadow Reeder, and Michael Reeder. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
