Terry L. Tolson

Terry Lee Tolson, 79, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025, at his home in Royal Palm Beach, Florida, surrounded by his family and his dog. Born on April 19, 1946, in Hamilton, Ohio, Terry lived a full and dedicated life marked by hard work, deep family bonds, and a passion for the outdoors. For over three decades, Terry served as a manager at Equipment Rental Services in West Palm Beach, Florida. His long-standing commitment to his profession reflected his reliability and strong work ethic. Over the years, he built lasting relationships with colleagues and clients alike through his steady leadership and practical knowledge. Terry's heart was most at home among those he loved. He shared 45 memorable years with his wife, Deborah Ann Knecht Tolson and together they raised their daughter Laura Lee Tolson. He also held close the memory of his daughter Angala Smith Jones, who preceded him in death. She was his boy until first Grandson Brandon Smith came along, who became he son he never had and raised. Family was central to Terry's life. He found immense joy in spending time with his grandchildren—Brandon Smith, Makayla DeJesus, Daija Jones, Jazmin Jones, Jordan DeJesus, and Hunter Jones—each of whom brought light into his world. Whether casting a line on a quiet lake or cheering from the sidelines at a racetrack, Terry delighted in sharing his passions with them. He is also remembered by his brother Sidney Tolson, his nieces and nephews, and sister in law Connie. He now joins in rest his parents, Leona Hayes Tolson and Elmer Tolson; his brother Bil (Luke)l Tolson; and sister Laura Rae Tolson. Terry had an enduring love for racing, fishing, tinkering in the garage and mowing grass—activities that allowed him to embrace the thrill of speed and the serenity of nature. Whether under the sun, on the lake, or in the garage. He found peace outdoors and treasured those moments deeply. His greatest happiness came from being surrounded by family—especially his grandchildren, and his dog—whose laughter and presence were among his greatest joys.–– May Terry's memory bring comfort to all who knew him and continue to inspire those who carry forward the legacy of love and resilience he leaves behind.
