Terence John O'Grady

Terence J. O'Grady 10/5/1931 - 12/21/2008 of Wellington, FL. a former resident of White Plains, NY and Littleton, Co. died peacefully on Sunday, December 21st, 2008 after a brief illness. He was 77 years old. Terry was born on October 5th, 1931 in Bronx, NY, the oldest of two children. He earned his bachelors degree in English at Fordam University. Terry held several management positions with New York Telephone and AT&T in NYC and White Plains and then retired in 1989 from AT&T in Denver, Co. Terry was formally the president of the Wellington Seniors Club from 1999-2003, a member of the Wellington Country Club for 18 years and an avid tennis player. Terry is survived by his wife of 49 years, Margaret(Marge) O'Grady, a brother Denis O'Grady of Bronx, NY and three daughters, Maureen Delano and her husband, Mark, of Briarcliff Manor, NY; Ellen Maloney and her husband, Thomas of Granite Springs, NY and Catherine Jahn and her husband, Albert of Lancaster, PA. Also surviving him are ten grandchildren. Visitation for the family and friends will be held Friday, December 26th at Palms West Funeral Home, Royal Palm Beach, Fl from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 27th at Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Church at 10:00 am, followed by internment at Our Lady Queen of Peace, Royal Palm Beach, FL.
