Taramati Dabiesingh

Taramati Dabiesingh, age 74, passed away in her home in Greenacres, FL on September 9, 2026. Taramati was born on February 20, 1952 in Carapichima, Trinidad to Mahabir Jingoor and Popo Nafadeen. Taramati attended Valsayn Teachers College where she met her husband Raj Krishna Dabiesingh. The pair married on August 12, 1979 in San Fernando, Trinidad.

After moving to the United States in the early 90s, Taramati earned a degree in Education. She graduated from York College in New York City with Magna Cum Laude. She then went on to earn her Master's Degree in Mathematics at the City University of New York. Taramati is survived by her husband Raj Krishna, her son Vince Sunil Dabiesingh, daughter in law Geeta Deepra Dabiesingh, her daughter Varsha Dabiesingh, grand daughters Asha Dabiesingh and Jaya Dabiesingh, and grandson Vasant Anand Moosai.

Taramati was always known to be a kind-hearted and genuine person. She always had a smile on her face, even in the toughest of times. Her love of math came to fruition during her forty-two years as a high school math teacher. Her patience, hard work, and expertise always set her above her peers. In addition to teaching, Taramati enjoyed being in the kitchen. She was always trying new things and stepping outside of the box.

Taramati's role as a mother was pivotal to the success of her children. Her patience and dedication set the groundwork for them to be strong and successful individuals. She continued that role later on in life when she became a grandmother. Taramati also enjoyed being outdoors and working in her garden with her husband Raj.

She will forever be missed.
