Sylvia "Sue" Palmer, aged 78, passed away on May 1, 2018, at her home in West Palm Beach, Florida, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Sue was born October 26, 1939, in Seneca, Oklahoma, the daughter of Earl Gilmore and Edna Thornbrough. Sue loved fishing, boating, knitting, cooking, and above all, sharing time with her family and friends. She was a hard worker all her life, a loving wife, and a fierce and proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband Jake McKinney; her children: Steven Morgan, Donald and Ruth Palmer, and Douglas and Angelique Palmer; her grandchildren Zane, Ashley, Alyssa, Carlos Adolfo, and Francisco; and one adorable great grandchild Michael who was the apple of her eye. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. A memorial gathering will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, in Royal Palm Beach, with a memorial service following at noon. A Celebration of Life will follow right after, to be held at Alan and Kathy Palmer's house in Ranch Acres Circle, Jupiter.
