Susan J. Kornberg

Susan J. Kornberg, also affectionately known by Ira, her loving husband and friends as "Susie Q", passed away on May 15, 2013 at Wellington Regional Medical Center. Susan was the daughter of Arline and the late Steve Bowans. Susan and Ira were married for 31 years and raised a family with two sons; David (Stephanie) Kornberg, Adam "A.J." Kornberg, and fluffy son, Maximus. Susan lived life to the fullest and on her terms. Trouble was her middle name! She led an exciting life full of adventure that included travel, fishing, scuba diving, bowling, and dancing. When she wasn't out conquering the world she was busy reading, writing, drawing, and spending time with her family and friends. Susan's family, including her sister Carole (Anthony Mariani) Forsyth, nephews; Rob Forsyth and Eric Forsyth , brother-in-law Bob Forsyth, Aunt Estelle and Uncle Sandy Horvitz, cousins, Steven Horvitz, Stuart Horvitz, Scott Horvitz, sister-in-law Eva Gray, and multitudes of friends have lost Susan here on earth but have gained an angel. A gathering will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 6:00 PM with a service beginning at 6:30 PM.
