Susan Gorkowski

Susan Gorkowski passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the young age of 53. She was a life-long resident of New Jersey recently relocating to Florida. Susan was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and aunt who enjoyed, in her free time, family and friends and was an avid cat and Betty Boop lover. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Gorkowski, father, Frank Gorkowski and Step-Mother, Rosalie Teryek Gorkowski, sister, Terri Shaw (Ray), children, Jamie Gorkowski (grandson, LeJaun Benjamin) and Shayna Gorkowski, nephews, Chris Shaw (Kristin - great niece, Savannah and great-nephew, Parker), Danny Shaw, niece, Danielle Small and nephew, Christopher Small, as well as her godfather, Henry Gorkowski and godmother, Mary Gatches, their families, aunts, uncles and cousins. Susan was predeceased by her grandparents, beloved son, Robert Gorkowski and sister, Marie Small (Chris). The family will hold a grave side service to celebrate Susan's life at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach, on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 12pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity, foundation, or animal rescue of your choice.
