Susan Hunt Barrow

The Life of Our Beloved Susan Hunt Barrow Susan was a vivacious woman with an engaging and mischievous laugh and tremendous energy who loved her family, friends, animals, swimming, and gardening. She was born in Livonia, Michigan in 1957. She was the daughter of Frank Hunt and Almerinda Farina. She has two sisters, Barb and Carrie, and a brother Tim. She earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Anthropology and Zoology from the University of Michigan. She married Lon Barrow, MD (Otolaryngologist) in 1996. They built a life together. They were best friends as well as husband and wife. They had two children together, son Trevor and daughter Dana. Susan was a homemaker and the driving force behind the educations of Trevor and Dana, who are now students at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Susan loved animals of all sorts. In particular, she has three dogs Cali, Carmi, and Finn and two rabbits. She was a strong supporter of animal rights. She loved swimming. She loved gardening. She was the manager of our household and the anchor for our family. Susan passed away on January 29, 2019. She will be missed. We will never forget the heart of our family.
