Stephen K. Woods

Stephen Woods passed away peacefully on November 10, 2022 at the age of 60. He battled against a clival chordoma for the past 4 years with strength and dignity, resolute in his faith in God. Steve was a native Floridian. He was born in Winter Park and raised in Belle Glade. He graduated from Christian Day School in 1980. He married Elizabeth Woods (Kuncl) in 1984, and they moved to Royal Palm Beach where they raised their two sons. Steve was an A-licensed water treatment plant operator and worked at various municipalities before retiring from the City of Riviera Beach in 2017. Steve is survived by his wife of 38 years, Elizabeth; his son Justin (Dahlia) of Sunnyvale, CA; his son Alex of Clearwater, FL; grandchildren Austin and Oliver of Sunnyvale, CA; his brothers John (Debbie) and David; and numerous family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline Woods. Steve enjoyed spending time with family, as well as his "grand pup" Enzo. He loved to keep busy with various projects around the home. He had a unique way of making us laugh. And yes, Steve, you are and always will be precious. A gathering will begin at noon on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Palms West Funeral Home in Royal Palm Beach, with services at 1:00 p.m., followed by the cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal happiness, the happiness you reserve for the good and the just.
