Stephen Arnold Wood

Stephen A. Wood, 58, of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, died on Thursday, November 5, 2008 at Wellington Regional Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida after a long illness. Born in Malone, New York, he was the son of Lyle A. Wood and Lola J. (Francey) Wood. Stephen had resided in Royal Palm Beach since July 2001. Prior to moving to Palm Beach, Stephen was a successful businessman and Real Estate Broker in Moira, NY. He was a member of the Farm and Land Institute, and operated a land brokerage with his father for many years. Stephen carried on the family business after his father?s death. Stephen leaves his two sons, Stephen M. Wood of South Lake Tahoe, CA, and Matthew D. Wood of Royal Palm Beach, Florida. Also surviving are his two sisters, Brenda Cromp of Brushton, NY, and Virginia Martin of Royal Palm Beach, Florida. Stephen had 2 grand children, Drew and Trey Wood of Murphys, CA. There will be no services held for Stephen, the family has asked that anyone wishing to remember Stephen send a donation to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 6350 North Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33309-2130 in lieu of flowers.
