Stephen Alan Roberts

Stephen Alan Roberts, age 54, passed away on Monday, May 27th, 2024, at Palms West Hospital in Loxahatchee, FL. He was born on December 8th, 1969, in Titusville, FL, and was the son of Ralph and Linda. He married his wife Sandra on November 19th, 1994, at Oviedo Baptist Church in Oviedo, Florida. He was a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics in 1995. He and Sandra welcomed their first daughter Erin in May 1997, and their second daughter Erica in March 1999. Steve was a member of the United States Army for 3 years from November 1996 until November 1999. After the military, he became a deputy sheriff with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office on May 27th, 2000, where he remained employed until his passing. Steve loved the Lord and sought to live his life as a testimony for His goodness and grace. He worked hard in everything he did regardless of whether or not he received recognition or the amount of sacrifice it required. Steve was well known for always having a sense of humor, and was a reliable voice of reason that anyone could confide in. He enjoyed reading, hiking, kayaking, spending time at the beach, and being with his family. Steve is survived by his wife, mother, brothers Randall, Mark, Donny, and Sam, his sisters Cathy and Amy, two daughters, and his two grandchildren. The family will be having a memorial service on Saturday, June 15th at Horizon Baptist Church at 10 AM for the viewing and 11 AM for the service.
