Stanley "Stas" J. Kushay

Stanley Kushay (Stas) Stas was born and raised in Manhasset, New York. He graduated from Manhasset High School in 1950 where he was celebrated for his achievements both on the football field and the baseball diamond. He volunteered for the Army and spent two years serving in Korea. After returning home he married the love of his life Marilyn , and they had 65 wonderful years together. They had three children Stas, John, and Kathleen, five grandchildren Johnny, Chris, Caitlyn, Matthew, and Ryan and two great grand daughters Emma and Charlotte. He was a 50 year member of Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Dept Co #2 and a member of the companies racing team. Stas had a lifelong passion for golf and played with his beloved wife Marilyn, almost every day of his retirement after moving to Wellington Florida in 1997. His Catholic faith was also a very important part of his life. Our family is extremely grateful to Trustbridge for the amazing hospice care he received at the end of his life.
