Stanley Davis passed away peacefully on the Monday morning of January 27th, 2025 at the VA's Hospice center with his two daughters by his side, he was 93 years old. Born on December 4th, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York. Stanley was the second of three children. He leaves behind his younger brother William 'Billy' Davis. When Stanley turned 20 years old, he decided to enlist in the United States Air Force, serving for four years and then going back to live with his beloved parents, Louis and Tillie Davis. In 1960 on January 1st, he met his beloved wife Silvia Lehmann Davis, they proceeded to get married that same year in July. Stanley and Silvia had their first daughter, Michelle in New York, in 1964. When Michelle was only 1 year old, they moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, where Silvia's family lived. Then had their second daughter Lisa, in 1967 in BA. This is the place that Stanley fell in love with and its where he wanted his beautiful family to grow and live. He adapted to the culture and the social aspect of the beautiful country, with much help from Silvia's entire family, this included her older brother Raul Lehmann, his wife Christina, and their three children Mattias, Bruno, and Ignacio. The nephews who became near and dear to Stanley. Stanley became Raul's best friend, much more than just a brother in law. In 1968, Stanley and Silvia hired a young girl named Antonia to help around the house, she quickly became a part of the family and in 1981, the family decided to return to the United States and move to Los Angeles, California and after 16 years of Antonia being part of the family, they did not leave her behind and invited her to come and move with them. They were all welcomed with open arms by the Ornstein cousins, Neil, Roberta, and Raye Beth with the late and dearest Aunt Gertie whom was Stanley's mother's younger sister. Stanley became a loving uncle to Shawn, Daniel, and Liz Murphy, sons and daughter of Stanleys cousin Raye Beth. Starting over together in California, Stanley and Silvia were lucky to have found a group of Argentinian people who soon grew into lifelong friends. Those friendships created so many long lasting memories, including playing Truco, poker nights, barbecues, and concerts at the Hollywood Bowl. In California, Stanley started his sales business, in which he grew from the ground up. He managed to keep the same clientele for over 40 years. Stanley continued to work up until he was emitted to the VA's Hospice center. He was devoted to his craft and was a very loyal man to all his clients. In 2005, Michelle and Lisa decided, with their own growing families, to move to West Palm Beach, Florida. Although Stanley and Silvia took a few years to follow them, in 2011, they officially made the move also, to enjoy their life with their two granddaughters, Melina the eldest, daughter of Michelle Davis and Raul Adue, and Carolina, daughter of Lisa Davis and Alex Robinson. One of Stanley's and Silvia's greatest passion was traveling, they traveled extensively to many different parts of the world together and made unforgettable memories and beautiful friendships along the way. Playing bridge together was their biggest pass time for many years in Argentina, California, and eventually Florida. They played passionately and very competitively. Stanleys individual passion was Tennis, he first fell in love with the game in Argentina and continued to play in Calabasas, and in Wellington, up until just a few months ago. Stanley was also a very avid painter, he had a gorgeous collection of artworks, by him and other artists. Stanley was also a very dedicated chess player, he even became a chess teacher at his daughters school in Buenos Aires. Eventually, teaching his youngest granddaughter, Carolina, how to play. After many years of memories and adventures with the family in Florida, Silvia passed away in March of 2021. Leaving behind her amazing husband, Stanley and the rest of the family. Having spent fours years without his best friend and partner, Stanley is now reunited with Silvia. Stanley was a present grandfather for both his two grandchildren and was a very proud one at that. From Carolina perusing her art dreams and keeping her artwork all over his house, to coming to visit Melina at her Optical job every time he went to Costco to shop. He always made sure to tell them how proud and astonished he was of them. Both Melina and Carolina have had the best of relationships with their grandparents and will always have the memories, the laughter, and the love and support they gave them. Stanley in their eyes will always be the best grandfather two young women could ask for. In his last years, Stanley was able to share good times with his younger brother Billy and his wife Sheila and their two sons Jordan and Mitchell and their families. He spent more time with his two daughters and granddaughters. Stanley made sure to have the four of them over to his house for dinner on Wednesdays and breakfast on Sundays. He cooked for them each and every time, but quite often he would kick them out early to watch his Tennis tournaments and football games, no matter where lived he would always be a die hard fan of the LA Dodgers and the NY Giants. Stanley was humorous, loving, sometimes obnoxious, always smiling, and most of all loved by so many who crossed his path in his 93 years of life. He will be remembered with a smile and a cigar in between his teeth. Stanley will be greatly missed and the memories of him will be cherished forever. In lieu of flowers, the family of Stanley Davis would appreciate any donations possible to be made to the Fisher House in Riviera Beach, Florida. www.fofhwpb.org 7305 N Military Trl, West Palm Beach, FL 33410 Thank you, kindly, on behalf of Michelle, Lisa, Melina and Carolina
