Stanley "Stan" Richard Brown, 67, of Wellington, Florida, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015, at Good Samaritan Hospital with his family by his side. He was born August 18, 1947, in Macon, Missouri, to John and Martha (Kline) Brown. He graduated from high school and college, obtaining a Bachelor's degree. Stan is survived by his wife of 13 years, Denise; two sons, Michael G. Brown and wife, Dominique of Pensacola, FL, and Anthony S. ("Tony") Brown of Boca Raton, FL; 6 grandchildren Zachary, Ashley, Iden and Ian of Pensacola, and Ian of Boca Raton; two stepsons, Joseph and Eric Maimone of Wellington; three brothers Larry, John, and Billy; a sister Marilyn; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and countless friends. Stan's national legacy in the tire business began with Sinclair Oil Company. He then co-founded K&B Tire in Macon, Missouri. After he moved to Florida, Stan continued in the tire industry employed by Goodyear Tire Company where for many years he was No. 1 in sales nationwide, setting new records year after year. In 2004, Stan and Denise co-founded Tyre Busters, Inc. Stan was extremely proud of his sons and stepsons. Michael for his career serving our country in the U.S. Navy and Tony for his achievements in the tire industry and for working closely with Stan. Joseph for his Associate of Arts degree and Eric for obtaining his Juris Doctor degree. He was preceded in death by his parents Martha and John, his brother, Ronald, his first wife, Juanita; and their daughter, Kristen. Stan will be remembered for his love and dedication to his family, friends and being the best husband, father, and grandpa. He will be sadly missed by many who are grateful for the many beautiful memories of Stan that will live within all who knew him. Celebration of life services will be held Tuesday, June 9th at 8:00 p.m. at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411.
