Sonia Sue Coffman, age 82, of Wellington Florida, and formerly of Palm Beach Gardens Florida, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024. She was born on April 24, 1942, in Toledo Ohio to Robert and Edna (Bieber) Cashen. Sonia married Roger Coffman on June 25, 1961. Sonia is survived by her husband, Roger Coffman, and 3 children, Kathy (Doug) Niklaus, Bob (Diane) Coffman, and Chris (Dominique) Coffman. Sonia had 6 grandchildren, Amanda (Stephen) Goldberg, Becky Niklaus, Jenny Coffman, Erin Coffman, Austin Coffman, and Ashleigh (Jacq) Hundley. She recently welcomed her first great-grandchild, Isla Hundley. She is also survived by a brother-in-law Dix (Bunny) Martin and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Shirley Ann Reeder, and her parents, Robert and Edna Cashen. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many who knew her. She worked for PGA of America in ticket sales and also served as a volunteer for the annual Honda Classic golf tournament for over 15 years. She traveled over the years and enjoyed water aerobics, crafting, reading, and playing Bridge, Mahjong, and Canasta with friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
