Someer Singh

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Someer (Bansie) Singh in West Palm Beach, FL. on January 31, 2022. He passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones who travelled in from Winnipeg, Toronto and New York. Someer (Bansie) was one out of 10 children born to Bechan and Gangia Singh of Mahaica Creek. He was predeceased by his parents, siblings Khajan, Rajie, Kuntie (Ronnie), Indraj (Channaboy); in-laws Pattie, Dhanpaul, Japs, Mohan & Delco; infant children and grandchildren. Someer will be missed by his loving and devoted wife of sixty-six years, Rukmin (Finey, née Ramdhanny) of Uitvlugt, West Coast. Siblings Sonia, Juliet, Baby, Bodo & Kamal. In-laws Rajdai, Gangadai (Lorlie), Seeram, Chunka (Danny), Ramesh, Joe & Vishnu (Passa). Beloved father to Jaso, Paro, Lilo, Baby, TJ, Chandannie, Kamo, Nancy, Vashtie and Cyndi; sons-in-law Ramesh, Satesh, Subhas & Charles. Cherished grandfather to Selena, Michelle, Leroy, Stefanie, Brandon, Andrew, Tony, Renitta, Amanda, Daren, Reisa, Kyara, Trayvon, Tévaughn, Shyla, Shiloh & Shem; great-grandfather to Malina, Zaya & Maddox. He is lovingly remembered as 'Uncle Bansie', Bansie Mamoo and Chacha to countless nieces and nephews. He will be missed by family and friends across the world. May God continue to bless his soul and grant him a peaceful journey.
