Siomara Garcia

Xiomara Garcia – age 72 unexpectedly passed away on January 13th of 2022. She was born on 8/14/1949 in Cuba and one of eleven children to Renee Vergel & Juan Jose Castillo. At thirteen, Xiomara married the love of her life Valois Ramon Garcia and together they raised five children – Valois Garcia, Xiomara Garcia, Oralia Vergel Garcia, Tania Fisher Garcia and Zoe Rubio Garcia. In 1979 Xiomara and Valois left with their family from Cuba for a better life for their family where they very proudly made a home here in the United States. Anyone who knew Xiomara knew she found strength in her family and her religion, and she devoted her life to both of them. When Xiomara was not devoting her time to her religion, you would likely find her in the home of one of her many children or grandchildren. Xiomara is loved and highly respected by many. Xiomara is survived by her mother Renee Vergel. Xiomara is also survived by her six siblings, five children – Valito, Xiomy, Oralia, Tania and Zoe, her nineteen grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren as well as extended family. We find peace in knowing that Xiomara has been reunited with her great love Valois. We hold tight our fond memories of many laughs, tears, lectures and lessons, her love of music and dancing, and most of all the love she held for each and every one of us.
