Shirley Ann Trokey

Shirley Ann (Collins) Trokey December 4th, 1934-August 25th, 2025 Shirley a beloved daughter, sister, mother and grandmother passed away August 25th, 2025, in West Palm Beach, FL at the age of 90. Shirley was born In Granite City, Illinois on December 4th, 1934.To the late James Collins and Ruth Ann (Turnbull) Collins. Shirley was a devoted mother to five children: Randal James, Deborah Ann, Dana Lynn, Denise Elaine and Robert Edward. Shirley enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren: James Patrick, Michelle Denise, Timothy Patrick, Travis James, Kevin Hunter, Crysannia Gloria, Christopher James, Brandon Alexander and Ryan Edward. Great Grandchildren: Caysen Alan, Nolan Robert, Declan Patrick, Bryson Michael and Alexa Marie. She always enjoyed her time with all of them on Disney Trips, making Christmas cookies and various arts and crafts as well as going to the movies and fishing with each one. She moved to Florida in 1981 where she retired m AT&T as a senior operations manager. She loved being on the water fishing as well as crocheting, BINGO, a the many trips to Disney World. Shirley is survived by her sister Mary on (Ken Sitton), her sister-in-law Jerry Collins, her five children: Randal (Jan) Debbie (Tim 2023), Dana, Denise and Robert (Jean), 8 of her grandchildren, her 5 great grandchildren and the many nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents James & Ruth Collins, her brother Bobby Collins, her sisters and brothers-in-laws, Joyce and Rolla Strange, Phyllis and Stanley Pratt and her Grandson James Patrick. Shirley will be remembered through all the memories of fun times and all the traditions she put in place.
